Book a slot before you shop
Although you can start shopping without booking a slot, it makes sense to book a slot first because:
- You may complete your shop and then find that we are unable to prepare your shopping for collection/delivery at the time you need, or in time for a particular event.
- There may be special offers and promotions that are only valid on a specific date, and may not be valid at a later date.
- You will be able to see the product range that is available for your delivery/collection branch.
Book an online shopping slot
If you would like to order your shopping online, you should select the ‘book an online shopping slot’ button on the right-hand side of the screen.
Select a date and time for the shopping to be delivered/collected.
Note: If you have registered for store collection you will not be able to book a home delivery if the service is not offered in your area.
To book a home delivery/collection:
- The grid displayed indicates the available slots, shown by picture icons against the available dates (for the next seven days). Carrier bag indicate collections and delivery vans show deliveries.
- Optionally, view later dates
If you would like to book a home delivery/collection for a later date, click the 'forward seven days' button. You will then be able to view dates and times for the following week. If you only wish to view available slots after a certain date, click on the dropdown box "display dates from" box and select the appropriate date range.
- Select a date and time for delivery/collection by clicking on the appropriate picture icon for delivery/collection.
A page confirming your selected delivery/collection slot will appear.
Note: If you select a delivery time before 9am, service counter lines, newspapers and other products with a one-day shelf life cannot be delivered to you.
Note: Your slot time can be changed at checkout.
