Find out why it is useful to book a slot before you start shopping
Although you are free to start shopping without booking a slot, there are two good reasons for booking your online slot first:
- You may complete your shop, only to find that we are unable to prepare your shopping for collection /delivery at the time you need, or in time for a particular event.
- You will see special offers and promotions that are valid today, but may not be valid at a later date when you decide to book an online slot.
Book an online shopping slot
If you would like to order your shopping online, you should select the ‘book an online shopping slot’ button on the right hand side of the screen.
You then need to select a date and time for the shopping to be delivered/collected.
Note: If you have registered for store collection as we do not yet deliver in your area, you will not be able to book a home delivery.
To book a home delivery/collection:
- The grid displayed indicates which slots are available, indicated by picture icons against the available dates (for the next seven days). Carrier bag for collections and delivery van for deliveries.
- Optionally, view later dates
If you would like to book a home delivery/collection for a later date, click the 'forward 7 days' button. You will then be able to view dates and times for the following week. If you only wish to view available slots after a certain date, click on the drop down box "display dates from" box and select the appropriate date range.
- Select a date and time for delivery/collection by clicking on the appropriate picture icon for delivery/collection.
A new page will appear confirming your selected delivery/collection slot.
Note: If you select a delivery time prior to 9am, service counter lines, newspapers and other products with a one-day shelf-life cannot be delivered to you.
Note: You can change your slot time when you reach the checkout.
