Find products by browsing and searching
There are two ways to find what products are on WaitroseDeliver. Click on the 'Groceries' tab, then:
- Use the aisles to browse around (along the top of the page - the first one is Bakery & Patisserie).
- Use the product search to type in what you're looking for (in the top right-hand corner).
Browsing the product categories
The basic product categories (aisles) are shown across the top of the page. To find a product:
- Click the aisle you require
The aisle names appear at the top of the page, in green. A list of shelves will open up on the left-hand side of the page (e.g. Bakery & Patisserie). - Click the shelf you require
The shelf names appear on the left-hand side of the screen. A list of available products that we recommend will appear in the centre of the page. When you click on the shelf that you require a list of available products will appear in the centre of the screen.
Under the shelves selection is a "filter" section. This filter can be used to view products within the category by specific requirement, for example all Bakery/Patisserie products on promotion, or all products suitable for a specific type of diet.
Using the product search
To use the product search facility:
- Enter your search words in the 'Search for' box
The search box appears in the top right corner of the page. Enter the words that you think will most accurately describe the product you are looking for. This can either be a complete product name (for example 'Baxters tomato soup'), a group of products (for example 'Soup'), or a brand name (for example 'Baxters').
Example: Tomato soup - In the drop down box next to the 'Search for' box select the appropriate area to make this search in
- Click on the 'Go' button next to the 'Search for' box
The search will begin, and any products that match the words you entered will appear with their relevant pictures in the centre of the page. These will be grouped by shelves. You can see the entire contents of any shelf by clicking on the shelf name. On the left-hand side of the page your search results will also appear broken down specifically by shelf.
Using Shopping Jotter
Shopping Jotter allows you to search for a specific list of items. To use the Shopping Jotter product search facility:
- On the Groceries homepage, click on the ‘Shopping Jotter’ button
The Shopping Jotter notepad will appear. - In the notepad, list the items you want to search for, separated either by commas, or by pressing ‘enter’
- Click on the ‘Search’ button
The search will begin for the first item on your list, and any products that match the words you entered will appear with the relevant pictures at the centre of the page. These will be grouped by shelves. You can see all the contents of any shelf by clicking on the shelf name. - Add an item to your trolley
Click on the ‘add to trolley’ button next to the product you wish to buy. - Choose another item to search for
Either select the '‘>>’' or '‘<<’' links at the top of the search results to move through your list, or alternatively, select the links on the left-hand side of the page, where your list is displayed. - Alternatively, edit your Shopping Jotter list
To edit or clear your list, click on the ‘Change your search' button to return to the Shopping Jotter homepage where you can modify or clear your list.
Look through lists of products
When searching for products, or selecting a product category, Waitrose own-brand products are displayed first, followed by other products in alphabetical order. You can use the scroll bar on the right-hand side of your browser to move down the page and see all the products listed.
Depending on the number of products within a shelf or a search, the lists can be several pages long. The number of products found in each search is displayed at the top of the page. For example 'Products 1 to 30 of 124'. This means that there are more pages to view.
To move between the product pages:
- Click the '<<' or '>>' buttons at the top (right-hand side) of the page
This will take you to the previous or next page in this shelf, or to a set of search results. If this is the first page then you will not be able to click on the 'previous' text link. Similarly, if this is the last page, you will not be able to select the 'next' text link.

The estimated cost does not include the delivery or collection charge. View our pricing policy (see Help menu) for more details.
