More about saved lists

Saved lists are a quick and easy way to speed up your shopping. They allow you to:

• Add products that you buy regularly to a list, and save it
• Add the list to your trolley

You can set up lists of products that you buy regularly and add them to your trolley in seconds. Lists can be set up for your weekly shop, for special occasions e.g. Christmas, or for specific purposes e.g. 'kitchen & bathroom'.

Lists are very flexible, you can create lists, change lists, rename lists and delete lists whenever you like. Once you have created a list, it can be reused again and again, adding those products to your trolley in seconds. You can use the list as it stands, or change it each time as required - it's up to you.

You can save specific quantities, substitution preferences (except a WaitroseEntertaining item) and special requirements with each product in a list. You can also make temporary changes to these details before adding the items to your trolley, or you can permanently change lists by clicking 'save changes' before adding to the trolley. You may even want to save a list with all quantities set to zero so only selected items are added to your trolley.

Tip: to speed up your shopping next time, save the contents of your trolley as a shopping list. This list can then be recalled at any time and instantly added to your without the need to search for each item individually.

Create a list

There are many ways to create a new list. You can:

• Create a blank list
• Create a list from the contents of your trolley
• Create a list by copying it from another list
• Create a list from the contents of your previous order
• Create a list by adding a product to a new list

To create a new list:

1. Select ‘My favourites’ from the options at the top of the WaitroseDeliver page.
   A new page will appear explaining the functions available through ‘my favourites’ - select ‘lists’
2. Click on the 'create a new list' button
   A new window will appear, asking you how you would like to create your list.

To create a list from the contents of your trolley:

Either:

1. Select the 'list' link after selecting the 'My favourites' link
   The lists page will be displayed
2. Click on the 'create a new list' button
   A new page is displayed
3. Enter a name to describe the list.
   Example: Weekly shop 2
4. Click on either create an 'empty list' or a 'list from the contents of my trolley'
   Your list will be created.

Or:

1. Select 'My trolley' from the top menu
   Your current trolley contents will be displayed.
2. Click on the 'add Trolley to a saved list' button at the bottom of the page
   A new window will appear, asking what saved list you would like to add your trolley contents to.
3. Click on the small circle next to 'a new list called' and enter a new name
   Enter a name that will enable you to easily identify the list in the future.
   Example: Biscuits and snacks.

To create a list by copying it from another list:

1. Select the 'My Favourites' link
   A new page will appear, explaining the functions available through 'my favourites' - select 'lists'
2. Select the ‘list’ link, and click the ‘create a new list’ button.
3. Click on the small circle next to 'a list from the contents of my other list called' and select the list you would like to copy from the drop down box. Enter a new name for your list in the box.
   Enter a name that describes this list.
   Example: Fruit & Vegetables
4. Click on the 'create list' button
   Your list will be created for you, with the contents of your other list.

To create a list from the contents of your last order (if your last order was less than 12 months ago):

1. Select the 'My Favourites' link
   A new page will appear, explaining the functions available through 'my favourites' - select 'lists'
2. Select the 'create a new list' button
   A new window will appear, asking you how you would like to create your list.
3. Click on the small circle next to 'a list from the contents of my last completed order' and enter a new name for your list in the box.
   Enter a name that describes this list.
   Example: Birthday party
4. Click on the 'create list' button
   A list will be created from the contents of your last completed order.

To create a list by adding a product to a new list:

1. Look for the product you wish to add, either by searching or browsing the product categories
2. Select the quantity of the product to add to the list
   Enter the amount of this product you wish to buy in the 'quantity' box.
3. Click on the 'add to list' button next to the product
   A new window will appear, asking you to either select an existing list to copy this product to, or to enter the name for a new list.
4. Enter a name for the new list
   Enter a name that describes this list, in the name box at the bottom of the new window.
   Example: Monthly canned goods
5. Click on the 'add' button
   A list will be created with the products you selected. To view this new list, return to the 'My Lists' page, and select the list's name.

Change a list

You may wish to add new products or remove others from your list.

To change the products in a list:

1. Select the list to be changed
   Click on the name of the list on the left or the 'view list' button on the right.
   Example: Monthly canned goods
2. Enter new quantities as required
   Change the quantities of any products that you wish to buy more or less of, by changing the amount in the 'quantity' box.
3. Remove any products you no longer want
   Select the items you wish to delete by using the checkboxes to the far right of the products. Once you have selected the lines, click on the "DELETE SELECTED ITEMS" button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Change your substitution preferences, as required
   Every product in your list is set to be substituted by default. If you do not want various products to be substituted, click on the ‘substitute’ box at the right of the product to remove the small tick.
5. Change your special requirements, as required
   Enter any special requirements for a product in the 'special requirements' box to the right of the product. This may include instructions on the condition of the product to be purchased.
   Example: larger potatoes rather than smaller ones
6. Click on the 'save changes' button
   Your changes will be saved to the list.

Rename a list

If you want to change the name of a list, then create a new list from the list you want to rename, then delete the old list.

1. Select the 'click here to create a new list' link
   A new window will appear, asking you how you would like to create your list.
2. Click on the small circle next to 'a list from the contents of my other list called' and select the list you would like to copy from the drop down box. Enter a new name for the list in the box
   Enter a name that describes this list.
   Example: Breakfast goods
3. Click on the 'create list' button
   A list will be created using the contents of your other list.
4. Click on the 'delete list' button to the right of the old list you would like deleted
   A message will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete the list. Click on the 'OK' button, and the old list will be deleted.

Delete a list

To delete a list:

1. Click on the 'delete list' button to the right of the list
   A message will appear, asking if you are sure you want to delete this list. Click the 'OK' button, and the old list will be deleted.

Add the products in a list to your trolley

Once you have created a list, you can add the products on that list to your trolley in seconds. Add the list to your trolley, and go straight to the checkout.

To add the products in a list to your trolley:

1. Click on the 'add to trolley' button to the right of the list
   The contents of that list will be added to your trolley.

To view/change the contents of a list, before adding them to your trolley:

1. Click on the list name or the 'view list' button to the right of the list
   The contents of the list will be displayed.
2. Change product quantities as required
   By default the quantities of each product in the list will be added to your trolley. You can change this by changing the amount in the 'quantity' box.
   Please note to change the list permanently, click on 'save changes'.
3. Remove any products you do not want to add
   If there are products on your list that you don't want to add to the trolley, then enter a quantity of zero for that product.
4. Change your substitution preferences
   Every product in your list is set to be substituted by default. If you do not want various products to be substituted, click on the ‘substitute’ box at the right of the product to remove the small tick.
5. Change your notes
   Enter any special requirements for a product in the 'notes' box to the right of the product. This may include instructions on the condition of the product to be purchased.
   Example: Slightly green bananas rather than ripe ones
6. Tick the ‘tick to select’ box for all required items and click the ‘add selected items to trolley’ button.
